Soccer To Day - David Moyes is keeping his cards close to his chest as the end of the transfer window approaches.
The champions are being linked with a whole host of players with many pundits expecting a busy final day on Monday for a number of clubs.
The United manager was pleased with the performance, if not the result, at Liverpool but claims he is not in a position to say whether a new signing will arrive at Old Trafford in time.
"We'll continue working for what is left of it [the window]," he explained. "And try and get what we can in but you can see why they [the players] are champions as I was really impressed by them today.
"There's not too long to wait [before the deadline]. Maybe there's a chance [of something happening] but I couldn't give you a heads up one way or another at the moment.
"There's a few things going on but we will know soon. I don't know how long there is to go, not long, and we'll see but, as I've said, I'm really pleased as the players have given me a lot of confidence."
